About Us
Mr. Joel Williams is the principal behind Williams Consulting.
He has been working in high-tech for many years, starting with 8 years at Bell Labs, including management positions through director level. He has been consulting for almost 30 years, for a variety of companies of all sizes. Additionally, Williams Consulting regularly draws from a pool of associates as needed on projects.
Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, Williams has been active in many professional and standards organizations. He is past president of Professional and Technical Consultants Association, and past Vice-Chair of the IEEE Consultants Network of Silicon Valley. He is a life senior member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) and a member of ACM (Association for Computing Machinery).
Williams teaches seminars on various technical and professional subjects.
